Our path

01

Loginnove, the beginning

The name Loginnove blends two words: software and innovation. The company starts by building custom software for Canadian SMBs. The goal: simplify complex processes, make systems smoother and better aligned with real field constraints.

Early on, one realisation stands out: traditional management systems, however well-built, stay too rigid and too costly to deploy for SMBs.

02

The turning point: automate to free people

Project after project, the team measures the invisible weight of repetitive admin tasks. Accounts payable, data entry, document filing consume most of the time of qualified talent.

The company then specialises in administrative process automation. The idea: save time, reduce human error and give teams back the capacity to focus on what truly creates value.

03

Viridem is born

To reflect this new direction, a brand emerges: Viridem, derived from the Latin word for green. The name evokes renewal, progress and harmony between technology and people. Green also stands for the company's environmental commitment: less paper, fewer unnecessary trips, less waste, a sustainable digital transition.

Loginnove remains the corporate name. Viridem becomes the product brand, built to carry an international vision while staying rooted in Canada.

04

People at the centre

The goal has never been to replace people. The opposite: free teams from time-consuming tasks so they can focus on analysis, advisory work, strategy and client relationships. Automation becomes a lever for innovation and a driver of talent retention.

Today, Viridem keeps investing in research and development, with a dedicated AI department created in 2023, to make every process smarter, faster and more relevant.

Our vision

Automation at the service of people, rooted in Canada since 2013.

At Viridem, we believe that Canadian administrative teams deserve better than repetitive data entry. Our mission: free human potential by automating what machines do best: capture, validation, matching, archiving: so your accountants, controllers and managers can decide, analyze and grow your margins.

Owners of our technology since 2013, we build in Victoriaville an accounts payable automation and document management software that is 100% Canadian-made, built in Canada, aligned with Canadian privacy standards. No third-party reseller, no transit through US servers, no dependency on a foreign vendor: your digital privacy is non-negotiable.

Our conviction: hybrid AI (OCR + AI + human supervision) must serve accuracy, not replace it. That is why our AI research department tests every innovation against your real documents before it enters the product. No hype. Only what concretely delivers 99% accuracy on structured invoices and a measured ROI between 3 and 12 months.

With over 300 Canadian companies automated with Viridem: Bellemare, Chocolat Lamontagne, APCHQ, Vaillancourt, Sani Marc, and many more: we hold one certainty: the next decade of administrative automation will be written in French, from Canada, with tools teams master.

Join us on this journey. Together, let's simplify processes, give teams the means to focus on what matters, and build a world-class Canadian expertise in accounts payable automation.

Who founded Viridem and Loginnove?

Viridem (product brand) and Loginnove (corporate name) were founded in 2013 by Dominique Bernier and Daniel Boissonneault, two software engineers with over 25 years of combined development expertise. Head office in Victoriaville, Canada.

Why the name Viridem?

Viridem comes from the Latin word for green. The name evokes renewal, progress and harmony between technology and people. Green also reflects the company's environmental commitment: less paper, fewer unnecessary trips, less waste, a sustainable digital transition.

Is Viridem a Canadian-owned proprietary company or a foreign SaaS?

Viridem is 100% Canadian-owned, has owned its source code since 2013, handled with the greatest care, falling under Canadian jurisdiction only. No dependency on a U.S. or European vendor. According to the 2025 Upper Harbour study, 82% of SaaS in Canada falls under foreign jurisdiction; Viridem is a transparent Canadian publisher.

What are Viridem's values?

Twelve values guide Viridem every day: respect, innovation, efficiency, humanity, professionalism, joy, authenticity, commitment, responsibility, cooperation, adaptability, sustainability. Detailed on our Our story page.

How much does accounts payable automation software cost in Canada?

Viridem offers an expert solution preconfigured by role and by industry, delivered as sector packages. The price depends on your sector and scope: no single rate, no per-page cost. No surprises, no hidden costs. Discover the price tailored to your reality by booking a free 30-minute appointment with a Viridem expert. All plans include Canadian hosting, English support from Victoriaville, Viridem Academy training and automatic updates. A ROI calculator is also available to estimate your savings in two minutes.

What is the ROI of accounts payable automation?

For Canadian SMBs, average Viridem ROI materialises between 3 and 12 months, regardless of your sector or volume. Three savings levers: 80% of tasks automated, 9× faster processing than manual entry, 90% paper reduction. The Viridem ROI calculator helps you estimate your savings in a few minutes.

How long does Viridem deployment take in an SMB?

Viridem deployment typically takes 4 to 8 weeks depending on your ERP complexity and document volume. Phase 1 (weeks 1-2): flow analysis, workflow configuration, OCR + AI calibration on your supplier formats. Phase 2 (weeks 3-4): ERP integration, Viridem Academy training included, user testing. Phase 3 (weeks 5-6): production rollout, personalized support. Our Victoriaville team stays reachable for evolutions.

Is Viridem aligned with Canadian privacy standards?

Yes, fully. Viridem has been designed in Canada since 2013, owns its code, operates under exclusive Canadian jurisdiction. Modernised Canadian privacy law and PIPEDA compliance, AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, granular access control, timestamped audit log. Per the 2025 Upper Harbour study, 82% of SaaS tools used in Canada rely on foreign providers. A Canadian publisher since 2013, Viridem puts the protection of your data at the heart of its approach, in the spirit of Canadian privacy standards, and never sells or exploits it for commercial purposes.

How does Viridem compare to other accounts payable automation solutions?

Viridem stands out first through its OCR + AI technology: where many tools stop at OCR, Viridem combines optical recognition with artificial intelligence to reach 99% accuracy on structured invoices. Second strength: workflows preconfigured by industry AND by role (construction, distribution, manufacturing, finance, HR), a depth of specialization that is unique on the market. Third: your data is handled with the greatest care, aligned with Canadian privacy standards and never sold or exploited for commercial purposes. Against global players such as Tipalti, Quadient, Stampli or Bill.com, Viridem guarantees data protection and English support from Victoriaville; against other vendors, it stands apart through the precision of its OCR + AI engine, ERP connectors built in-house and reliability proven since 2013, paired with deep expertise by trade and sector (construction, manufacturing, distribution, forestry, finance) and an investment that delivers lasting savings, with ROI typically reached in 3 to 12 months. And as ERPs begin adding accounts payable and administrative-task automation modules, Viridem keeps an edge: a specialized, multi-ERP OCR + AI engine that enriches your accounting system instead of replacing it. And because we own our software, Viridem is scalable and grows with your business.

What's the difference between classic OCR and OCR + AI?

Classic OCR (optical character recognition) reads printed characters on an image but struggles with non-standardized invoices, handwriting and complex layouts. Viridem's OCR + AI combines OCR robustness (for 80% of standard documents) with a pre-trained language model, peer-reviewed, that understands context, field relationships and semantics. Result: 99% accuracy on structured invoices, with auto-detection of cases requiring human validation. See our scientific references.

How does Viridem handle exceptions and non-compliant invoices?

Viridem automatically identifies invoices outside the standard flow: amounts out of tolerance, unknown supplier, missing PO, tax errors, potential duplicates. Each exception is routed to the right approver with full context (supplier history, comparison with previous invoices, correction suggestions). Your clerk handles only the 5-15% of exceptions instead of 100% of invoices. Per Ardent Partners 2026, best-in-class teams process an invoice in 3.1 days on average thanks to this intelligent filtering.

My ERP isn't on the partner list: is that a problem?

No. Beyond the 30+ native connectors (Acomba, Avantage, Fidelio, Genius, Maestro, Maximum, Orchestra, Prextra, Sage, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks), our team builds custom connectors in 2 to 4 weeks, integrated into your standard deployment. Since 2013 we've connected Viridem to every ERP encountered across the Canadian markets: Oracle NetSuite, Acumatica, Procore, Vision Construction, Intéral, Houston Solutions and several vertical-specific solutions. The cost is bundled in the project, not charged as an option.

Which data does Viridem automatically extract from a supplier invoice?

Viridem extracts on average 30 to 50 fields per invoice: header (supplier, invoice no., issue/due dates, currency), amounts (subtotal, GST, QST, HST, total), line items (description, quantity, unit price, line total), references (PO no., project no., cost centre, product code), payment terms and discounts, banking details, signatures and stamps. Every field is validated against your ERP and your supplier history. On handwritten forms (field inspections, receiving sheets), the hybrid AI also extracts ticked boxes, signatures and annotations.

How can I reduce supplier invoice processing time?

To reduce supplier invoice processing time in a Canadian SMB, accounts payable automation is the most effective path. Per Ardent Partners 2026, best-in-class teams process an invoice in 3.1 days on average (vs 17.4 days for the rest). Three technical levers: (1) OCR + AI capture to eliminate manual entry (down from 8-12 min to under 30 seconds per invoice), (2) visual mobile approval workflows with automatic escalation, (3) PO ↔ invoice ↔ receipt three-way matching auto-validated for 90% of cases. With Viridem, Canadian SMBs typically achieve a 60% reduction in processing time within the first 90 days (Groupe Bellemare testimonial on 15,000 yearly invoices).

What is intelligent administrative document digitization?

Intelligent administrative document digitization goes beyond simple PDF scanning: it combines OCR (optical character recognition), artificial intelligence (contextual understanding of non-standardized layouts), automatic classification by document type, full-text indexing and orchestrated approval workflows. Concretely, your supplier invoices, purchase orders, contracts, CCQ attestations, receiving slips, OHS forms, employee records are captured, validated against your existing systems (ERP, payroll, HRIS), and archived with a timestamped audit trail compliant with Canadian privacy law. Viridem has delivered this intelligence layer since 2013, with 99% accuracy on standardized formats, letting your admin team retrieve any document in under 5 seconds.
